The Partner company of CEC in Bulgaria is VMC, a public affairs consultancy owned by Rositsa Velkova.
Rositsa has an Executive MBA degree from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and the Carlson School of Management (USA). She graduated earlier from International Economic Relations at the Sofia University of National and World Economy with a Master of Science degree. Prior to establishing VMC, she worked as a Managing Partner for the Burson-Marsteller affiliate in Bulgaria and headed accounts with multinational and local clients including Philip Morris, Lufthansa, SAP, Mobiltel, Roca, Porr, Ericsson, Porsche.
Rositsa is the founder and national co-ordinator of the "ITC Broadband Platform For Bulgaria" initiative whose members include: SAITC, Ministry of State Administration, Ministry of Finance, Mobiltel, HP, Siemens, Kapsch, BTC (Bulgarian Telekom), Alcatel, Ericsson, Microsoft, BAIT (Bulgarian Association of IT Companies), ITC Cluster, Bulgarian ITC Agency, CRC (Communications Regulation Commission), and Evrokom Cable.
Rositsa is a member of numerous business organisations, including JW Austria, National President of JCI Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce, the Austrian Business Club, the Premium Business Ladies' Club and the Bulgarian Project Management Association (BPMA).
Apart from her native Bulgarian, Rositsa speaks fluent English, German, Russian and Italian, and is proficient in Serbo-Croat and Japanese.
