CEC Government Relations was established in Central Europe in 1993 by Marek Matraszek as the first independent Western-style lobbying company in Central Europe. By combining our British roots and experience with local staff and resources, we have been able to provide our clients with a comfortable, professional relationship together with achieving practical results.
As we have grown, we have relied on seeking out the best in local consultants, management and staff. Our network offices now employ over 40 people across the region and we continue to grow into new markets. We are active in the local Western diplomatic and business communities and are proud of having established ourselves as the first port of call for Western companies’ public affairs requirements in the region.
We have remained fiercely independent over the years, but we have also invested time in developing a network of relationships with partner public affairs and public relations companies in Europe, the UK and the United States. We are delighted to be able to work with them on a case-by-case basis in our own countries, and also to team with them on the increasing number of pan-European campaigns directed at Brussels in which we are asked to participate.
Each of our local offices throughout the region is fully staffed with experienced professionals, familiar with the complex backgrounds of personalities and decision-making processes in their countries. We combine senior management that has years of experience in the region between them, with young, dynamic, and multilingual staff to service your needs professionally and effectively.
