Integrity is led by Arunas Pemkus. Arunas graduated from Northwestern University (Chicago) in 1982 receiving a BA in Political Science and Russian Language, and from Georgetown University (Washington, DC) in 1989 with a MS in Accounting. In Washington, he worked as an accountant in a large real estate and construction company. In 1989, he became a political appointee under President George Bush and worked in the White House and US Department of State, Bureau of Human Rights. Arunas came to Lithuania in 1993 as the country manager for KPMG's privatization consulting company. From 1994 to 1998, he managed a pharmaceutical company in the three Baltic States. In 1997-1998 Arunas was a senior debate advisor in the election campaign of President Valdas Adamkus and organized his Inauguration ceremonies. In 1999, he became the head of Integrity PR in Lithuania.
Arunas speaks English, Lithuanian, Russian, and French.
